  1. Speaking from my ancient analytical lab past – there are numerous changes through the years that have allowed more accurate and lower level testing on a relatively “low tech” level and/or its easier availability — i.e. think of the change from a room size computer to a hand held with greater functionality.

Other problems – different parts of the world look to consumer protection with NO reason to feel accountable – make the product and sell it is the only mantra. Of course, add in to that the overseas migration of production and the continuing US approach of non-regulation of manufacturing regulations in foreign lands though the primary market is us, the good ol’ USA with our so-called higher respect for consumer/human rights….

enough said – I am only a “administrative/clerical assistant” now.

Question – is the lead at higher levels – or just now actually being tested for and if that is the case, Why??? Is is someone’s political agenda or is it in the best interest of a consumer?

    Love ya, Mom
