I like how the light reflects on the water in all the different colors:

Where were those pictures taken? Were they taken with your cell phone?
I took some pictures at Avila that came out decent and uploaded them to my flickr account @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/strategicpause/sets/72157594436905906/
My camera actually got dropped last night and is dead, so now I’m gonna try to snipe a Canon Digital Rebel off of ebay. Can’t wait to see how the picture quality will be on an SLR as opposed to my old point-and-shoot
No, the top one was at the end of the Pismo pier at night. I’ve been experimenting with long exposures at night. They always come out with an eerie glow which I kinda like due to all the light pollution from high-pressure sodium lights. I left the shutter open for 30 seconds to get the light exposure that was needed. The other one was somewhere on Orcutt Road at sunrise.
Nice pics! I like the sea lion. The sky had a nice gradient of hues that night. I always love taking pictures near the ocean because of how the water reacts to whats in the sky. (Sorry, I don’t have a flickr account or else I would have commented there)
