Yeah! New camera

My new camera finally came in the mail today. I got an Exilim EX-Z120 7.2MP. I also picked up a 2GB SD stick on ebay to go with it. Oh man, it’s so nice to be able to take real pictures again. And, it does very nice video also with sound.

I have court tomorrow for my 50-in-a-35 speeding ticket. I’m going to see if I can get it dismissed. Blah!

Oh yeah, Coachella three-day passes have officially sold out now so if you didn’t get yours already, you are pretty much screwed.

  1. so what happened in court??!

  2. Nothing, I ended up opting for traffic school and paid my way out of the ticket. Traffic school was only $20 to do online and it took maybe 1/2 an hour but the city/county/whatever charged me $161 to use the traffic school option.

  3. that’s nothing compared to the 10,000 i’ve wracked up for driving under the influence with a pound of weed, a gram of coke, and no licence.

  4. haha! just kidding!

  5. I’m an expert at getting nailed for speeding. I get caught about every 18 months (which is exactly the allowable time limit to be able to do traffic school and get it erased from your record…uncanny how that seems to work out!) I NEVER had a traffic ticket all 5 years I drove in PA. I’ve had 3 in the past 7 years in CA. I blame it on the fact that CA drivers are crazy ass speeders and they push my limits :-) Not taking any personal responsibility at all *innocent look.* Anyways, regardless of traffic school, all counties (I’ve had tickets in more than one) in CA ream you, if you get caught speeding. It’s only an additional $20-25 to opt for traffic school, plus the traffic school fees. If I get a ticket I generally plan on it costing approx. $190, all told. It sucks! My 18 months just came up again, so here’s hoping I have a lucky year and don’t get another ticket. You’d think with all the community service/non-profit work I do that I could say that I’d work the damn ticket off! okay, enough of my diatribe…I don’t have my own blog, so I have to live vicariously through those who do :-)

  6. None…
