Sickness
I just got over being sick. Blah! I’m so glad Airborne exists. I got sick and unsick in less than 1.5 days by drinking a cup of this every 3 hours or so. Awesome stuff that’s not medicine so it’s not going to make you feel worse. It’s just a bunch of vitamins, almost 2000% of your daily vitamin C and a bunch of herb stuff. Enough of that, I feel ok now.
So my brother announced that he’s leaving the company. Not for any bad reason or anything, he’s just been at it for a while and it’s time that he does something different. It’s kinda weird since he owns part of the company and all. He let me know before he told anyone else which I though was thoughtful of him. I’m sad to see him go since he was the one who gave me the opportunity to work there and helped me get my life on the right track again. It’s also going to suck since I will be the main network guy on site now without any backup. I hope that we hire some other techs soon since our growth rate continues to increase. I will not be able to handle all that pretty soon. To put it short, “shit rolls downhill”.
Otherwise, life is fairly mundane at the moment. I pushed out a new version of my Cisco monitoring/network statistics interface with substantial improvements in the code and centralizing the database for all the managed sites it can handle so that I only have to update the main database and it “automagically” updates the remote databases with the new information. Also changed the way the remote version is configured so that it’s much easier to use for different managed networks. The current working version is 0.60.

also, why id your brother leaving … i mean, what is this ///change// that he’s going to persue?

can you get this airborne stuff over the counter? unfortunately, ALL of my room-mates are all of a suddden sick (except me)`and i want them better before i get what they have!!!
