I Madonnari at the Mission
Today the San Luis Obispo “I Madonnari” chalk drawing festival at the Mission Plaza started and it will continue through tomorrow. Digital West (the company I work for) has sponsored a 7′ by 7′ square there. Some of the drawings are truly amazing such as the portrait of Remdrandt and the egrets. I can’t wait to see them completed tomorrow. It’s almost sad that such wonderful pieces have been made in chalk since it will fade so quickly in the coming week or so but I suppose that’s also part of the magic. Unfortunately I only had my cell phone on me for pictures but I will try to get some higher resolution photos after they are all finished with the drawings tomorrow.
