My Kombucha (Experiment #2) is getting to the point of being ready. It’s day seven now and it’s really developing well. In the pictures, the mother mushroom is the small one that’s verticle in the jar (the one that’s the circle). The one from my last batch is the wider, bent one above the mother, [...]

Well, the first batch turned out ok. Not great but not bad for a first attempt. It was a little bit too sweet still but I thought it came out ok. I’d like to try something besides Mason jars for curing since they don’t seem to hold all the fizz (thanks Jim). Also, the first [...]

I finally received my lockpick learning locks today. It’s a set of three cylinders in a hard plastic block designed to help you learn how to pick locks. After about 2 hours of practicing, I can defeat them all. Interesting to understand how this works. I will purchase some better, high-security cylinders off of ebay [...]

I’m recently become a fan of Kombucha Tea and decided to have a go at making it myself since the drinks themselves are so expensive and can only be found at the two health food shops in my town. It’s very simple to do and quite fun, as I have learned, to be able to [...]

I can’t even begin to describe the experience I had last week. Actually, I guess that was the beginning. I ended up going to both Tool shows in Los Angeles at the Staples Center (2006-09-07 and 2006-09-08) and I’m definitely glad that I did. They were my fifth and sixth Tool experiences respectively and I’d [...]

Well, I’m finally utilizing this domain for it’s originally intended purpose. My personal, yet public side. Plus I’m sick of randomly going on a writing/posting spurt at another random place (my old blog which used shitty software, myspace, shell accounts, napkins, etc.). Now I just have to decide whether or not I’m going to move [...]
